Day 85 Guardian

I saw this sweet little statue sitting by a front porch this morning. She looked like she was watching over the yard and calling people up to the house to sit a while. I must say, there was something spooky about her, though.

Day 84 What is This Guy's Story?

This lizard lives on my front porch and has got to be one of the oddest looking little creatures I've ever seen.

Day 81 Million Bells

Since everybody seems to be in the mood for spring flowers, I'm sharing my Million Bells basket today.

Day 80 Wisteria

I've been noticing lots of beautiful wisteria in bloom along the roadside over the past few days. I finally got a chance to stop and capture some pictures of some this evening.

Malayne and Emalie were getting their motor running and looking for adventure this afternoon.

Day 78 Sara Beth

Had fun at a baby shower for Sara Beth today. Looks like the mom-to-be had a good time, too.

Day 75 The Winner

It was Bunco night and it was good to spend some time with friends having fun after two months off. In a setting like this, how could it not be a good night? Thanks to Mary for the hospitality. This picture was the choice of the Bunco Babes. Maybe next month one of the action shots of the dice rolling will win. We'll see. I'll probably let them vote again . . . 'cause that's how I roll.

Day 70 Nice

I was feeling lazy this evening and had no picture or ideas for one. I thought this was a pretty nice catch for a shot from the road on a neighborhood drive-through on the way home.

Day 69 Welcome

The Orange Beach Art Center will be the site of the Orange Beach Festival of Art this weekend. The welcome sign is just one of the unique works that are onsite at the center all the time. It's a cool place.

Day 67 What's Wrong With This Picture?

I tried to get a great shot of Sherry and Bruce atop their float during today's parade in Gulf Shores. I was ready. Had a great spot. It would've been good. (Yes, this is the front of the float. Yes, they are facing the BACK of the float. No, I don't know why.)  .  .  . Sometimes things just don't go as planned!. Happy Mardi Gras everybody.

Day 66 Tiny Color

These colorful little flowers seemed to be struggling against the wind this afternoon but they were still standing.

Day 65 Joe Cain Day

Maren rode in the parade with her dad for the first time today. Doesn't she look beautiful? So glad they had a great time.

Day 64 Eggs

The eggs were in a bag all by themselves when I left the grocery store today. That's the bag I dropped in the parking lot. I decided it was a good night to learn to make quiche.

Day 63 Daddy's Little Princess

I had a surprise visit with Emalie this morning. It was a great way to start the day. She was singing songs and talking about colors.

Day 61 Change

I stole this picture idea from another 365-er at http://throughaphotographerseyes.blogspot.com/, but I also need to give credit to my friend Laura at http://leroyphotography.blogspot.com/ for getting me interested in this project. Laura, thank you for your inspiration.

Day 60 Footprints

I took a walk on the beach this afternoon, but someone had been there before me. There were lots of footprints, lots of tiny shells and lots of cool shadows.
